Are you passionate about maintaining and improving high-quality products? We are seeking a technical project manager to join our client´s team in Västerås. The client is a leading provider of robust industrial communication solutions, developing products for critical environments with a focus on quality, innovation, and reliability.

About the Role

As a technical project manager, you will be part of a dedicated team of four, focusing on maintaining and enhancing existing products. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality and functionality by working closely with production, R&D, and product management teams.

This is a hands-on role where you will work with prototypes, implement design changes, and release updates to production. Your work will cover both new and existing products, with a focus on small adjustments, quality improvements, and brand labeling.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve existing products by managing design changes and updates.
• Handle releases to production, including testing, hardware updates, and design adjustments.
• Collaborate closely with the factory to ensure smooth transitions for product releases.
• Work with prototypes and manage change orders for incremental improvements.
• Act as a technical project lead, coordinating with product managers and R&D during weekly meetings.
• Utilize PLM systems for design and product management.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts and manage brand labeling updates.

Qualifications

• Degree in electronics or a related technical field.
• Experience with PLM systems, design, and product development.
• Strong digital skills and familiarity with tools for product management and design.
• Plus: Knowledge of Python or other programming skills.
